To My Beloved Judea,
Judea had a heart full of creativity and a soul that danced to the melodies of classical music and jazz. Her love for drawing was more than a hobby it was a reflection of her spirit, each stroke on the canvas telling a story only she could see. She poured her talent into creating art for Joy and the Butterfly Dreamz organization leaving behind a piece of herself in every masterpiece. Her passion and dedication led her to become a Pixar certified Illustrator, a testament to her incredible skill and ambition.
Beyond her art, Judea was a scholar, a dreamer, and a fighter. She was a two time Butterfly Dreams scholarship recipient, a Book Club participant, and even took part in a Health Internship, always striving to learn and grow. And regardless of how mentally, physically, and emotionally draining her illness was, she managed to maintain an impressive 3.6 GPA in her College and Career Prep High School a true reflection of her resilience and determination.
She was a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, and a godchild loved deeply by all who knew her. She leaves behind her two brothers, her mother and father, her grandmother and grandfather, her aunts and uncles, her cousins, and her godparents. Though she is no longer here in body, the love she gave, the joy she spread, and the art she created will live on in all of us.
Judea had a way of touching hearts effortlessly. Whether it was through her kindness, her laughter, or the quiet moments of thoughtfulness she shared, she left an imprint on everyone she met. And oh, how she could make people laugh sometimes without even trying! There were moments she’d do something silly, turn red with embarrassment, but those moments only made us love her more.
Judea, your presence was a gift, your love was a light, and your art was a reflection of the beauty within you. We will carry you with us always, in our hearts, in our laughter, and in every song and stroke of color that reminds us of you.
