ORIGLIA, Leslie Joan — of Malverne, NY, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026.
She was 76. Born November 17, 1949, in Manhattan, NY, Leslie made her home in Malverne for more than 40 years, where she and her beloved husband, George, raised their family and built a life centered on love and devotion. Leslie spent her career in the dental field, where she was known for her dedication, compassion, and strong work ethic. After the passing of her husband, she embraced life fully, enjoying dancing, dinners with friends, and making new connections while cherishing lifelong friendships. She was known for her confidence, joy for life, and signature style—never without her lipstick and perfectly manicured nails.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine; her son, George Origlia; and his wife, Stephanie, and was predeceased by her son-in-law, Anthony Fontana. She was a devoted grandmother to Camryn, Livia, Emmersyn, and Dominick. She is also survived by her brother, Freddy, and his wife, Sue. She was a devoted cousin, godmother, and aunt, treasured by her extended family.
Leslie was predeceased by her loving husband, George Origlia, and her parents, Myrna and Alfredo Lares. She will be remembered for her strength, loyalty, love of life, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
