Arnold C. Howard (99)
Retired NYPD Captain, Queens Detective Unit, long-time resident of Wantagh, passed away peacefully at home, with his daughter by his side, Saturday, August 8, 2026.
Arnold proudly served in the US Navy during WWII.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents Arnold & Hilda Howard, sisters Elizabeth Ahearn & Irene Howard, son Arnold C. Howard II and his beloved wife Carolyn.
Survived by his daughter LeeAnn Ericson (Dennis), stepdaughters Susan Pannullo (Greg) & Deborah Hesse, 6 grandchildren & 6 great-granddaughters, niece Dianne Windt (Ken) and nephews Robert (Lorell) & Paul (Claudia) Ahearn.
