Maria Morrison passed away after 71 blessed years. Maria has blessed so many with her laughter, gifted storytelling, strength and kindness.

She was a unique soul who loved her family and friends in such a special way. She made everyone around her laugh! 

She is survived by her husband Bruce Morrison. Her daughter Lisa and her wonderful son in law Dave. Her son Kenny and her amazing daughter in law Shannon. Her four Beautiful granddaughter’s who adored her… Mia, Jenna, Kaylie & Samantha. 

And all her family and friends who love her and will forever miss her. 

Dedicated to her career Maria was a remarkable hairdresser, Who made many laugh and was adored by all her clients. 

Maria found joy in summer vacations with her family to various places each year. Watching her beautiful granddaughters grow up. Warm sun on her face and a good cup of coffee or tea!

Eileen M Murphy

Eileen Murphy, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31 st in the loving arms of

her family. Born on August 8 th , 1940, Eileen has blessed many with her kindness, spirit, and wit. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel J. Murphy, and survived by her daughter Rosemarie and son-in-law Matthew, Her son Steven Murphy and daughter-in-law Christa; her grandchildren, Kristen Corless, Rowan Corless, and Meghan Corless; her sister Marion Hoey and her partner Sandy Montroy and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was a beloved and wonderful wife, mother, and Nana.
Dedicated to her community, Eileen participated in volunteer activities across Long
Island. She served as the President of Bethpage Little League for thirty years and volunteered at countless events for both the North Bellmore Elementary School district and the Bellmore- Merrick High School district. Eileen brought love with her everywhere she went and is remembered by many for the generosity and passion she so freely showed to all she met. Alongside her community involvement, Eileen found joy in her hobbies and time with her family. She was a gifted storyteller and craftswoman and loved to take trips with her family, including summers in the Poconos, cruises, trips to Disney World, and her tour of Ireland and bingo in Las Vegas. She was incredibly proud of her Irish roots and enjoyed collecting Belleek Irish China to display.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 2 nd from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the
Bellmore Funeral Home at 2340 Jerusalem Avenue, North Bellmore, and Friday, February 3 rd at 10:00 am with burial to follow at St. Charles’ Cemetery at 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MarryAnn Tully Hospice Inn
