Robert E Chiapuzzi Sr

6/12/1938 – 9/1/2025

Robert E. Chiapuzzi, Sr., 87, of Farmingdale, NY passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025.
Born on June 12, 1938 in The Bronx, NY, he was the beloved son of Ernesto and Louise (Bonini) Chiapuzzi, and the youngest of four boys.
Robert was a devoted husband to Kathleen for 67 years, a proud father to the late Kathy Lynn, Patricia, and Robert Jr., and an adoring grandfather to Bobby and Jacqueline. His family was his greatest treasure, and he cherished every moment spending time together with them.
He was known for his sense of humor, generosity, his love of storytelling, and his love of photography.
In addition to his family, Robert leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernesto and Louise, his brothers, Ernest Jr., Louis, and Joseph, and his daughter Kathy Lynn.
Robert’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the stories he shared. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 3 pm to 7 pm at Bellmore Funeral Home, located at 2340 Jerusalem Ave., Bellmore, NY.
A religious service will be held on Monday, September 8th at 11am at Bellmore Funeral Home, followed by an entombment at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Island Harvest, The Wounded Warriors, or Long Island Cares, Inc. – The Harry Chapin Food Bank.
