Frantz L Lanoix

11/23/1947 – 8/17/2026

Frantz Levy Lanoix, 78, passed away surrounded by his family on August 17, 2026. He was born in Cap-Haitian, Haiti, in 1947, moved to Brooklyn, New York in 1970, and most recently resided in Levittown, New York.

Early in his career, he held positions at law firms before transitioning to work in hospitals. He retired as the Emergency Room Director of Finance, managing operations across three hospitals throughout Queens and Brooklyn.

Frantz loved soccer, politics, learning languages, checking the weather, and listening to beautiful love songs in English, French, and Spanish. Most of all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, all of whom brought him so much joy.

He is survived by his wife, Anita; his children, Muriel (married to Bobby), Nadia, and Chris; his sister Ghislaine (married to Frantz); his grandchildren, Jordan, Gianna, and Lea; as well as many nieces and nephews.

While he will be greatly missed, Frantz leaves a lasting legacy through his family, friends, and all of the people who loved and respected him. May he rest in peace.
