LUFRANO – John L., May 31, 1947 – Feb. 29, 2024 left an enduring legacy in the world of Long Island mathematics education. A beloved husband to Joanne for 54 yrs; cherished brother to Lenny Lufrano and Christine Capece; loving father to John (Robin) and Janine Ferranti (Mike); and proud papa of Matty, Chelsea, Michael and Christopher; brother-in-law (Lucille and Dan); uncle and dear friend to many. John’s impact on the world will be forever remembered. He will be greatly missed, but his legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of all those he touched.
