OBITUARY
Alan John Ferrero Jr.
10/24/1963 – 5/2/2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Alan J. Ferrero, Jr., a devoted husband, loving father, brother, uncle, and loyal friend, who passed away on May 2nd, 2025 at the age of 61.
Born on October 24th, 1963, in Freeport, NY, Alan lived a life marked by integrity, hard work, and quiet strength. Alan was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Nancy, and a proud father to his two daughters, Alexis and Deanna. His unwavering love for his family was the cornerstone of his life, and he found immense joy in supporting and watching his daughters grow into the strong, compassionate women they are today.
Alan had a true passion for fixing things. Whether it was a broken appliance, a car engine, or something small around the house, he had a gift for bringing things back to life. It was one of the simple pleasures that brought him great joy. Equally, Alan was a passionate sports fan, especially when it came to his Miami Dolphins and the New York Yankees. A loyal Dolphins supporter through every high and low, Alan never missed a game. Football Sundays were a ritual, often filled with spirited commentary, hopeful predictions, and an unshakable belief that this could be the year.
Alan will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his humor, loyalty, and the profound love he gave to his family and friends.
In honor of his love for animals, with a special devotion to his cherished Penny and Bean, the family kindly requests that donations be made to ‘All About Cats’ in Freeport, NY, in lieu of flowers.
