OBITUARY
Alexander Molenko
11/16/1942 – 12/29/2023
Alexander Molenko, 81, despite being resurrected multiple times from heart failure, danced his final tango with Death on December 29, 2023.
Alex was born on November 16, 1942, in Camp Gordon, Georgia. He joined the Air Force after graduating Mepham HS. He was a computer system analyst, who started his own consulting company in his 60s. He was a phenomenal bowler with 17 300 games and won the 2014 LIUSBC Mixed Doubles with his daughter Dianna. He enjoyed cruising in his red Corvette by the beach, reading about the Civil War, eating medium-rare steak, and taking care of his grandkids.
He is survived by his wonderful wife Rae (Brower) Molenko and his sister Cathy (Molenko) Rodgers and her husband Bud. Al and Rae met at Bellmore Bowl in December 1986, knowing they were meant to be, they married three months later. They shared a house with their child Dianna Cazzalino, her husband Terry, and two grandchildren Hazel & Maeve. He is also survived by his daughter Nicole Muscatello, her husband Joe, their children Jack & Jenna, plus his son Alexander Molenko and his children AJ & Mia.
Al was predeceased by his parents Alexander Molenko and Margaret Lucker. He will be missed dearly by his Happy Hour Harem, including his wife Rae, and long-time friends June Messina and Cathy Jensen. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Bellmore Funeral Home.
