Funeral Arrangements For The Memorial Your Loved Ones Deserve
The Bellmore Funeral Home offers a wide range of services to families depending on their needs. While some prefer a full-service funeral including a wake, church service, and interment at a cemetery, others prefer direct burial or cremation. In either case, The Bellmore Funeral Home is a place for survivors to reflect and gather. In some cases, the deceased pre-plan their funeral or memorial. For others, it is our role to assist families to create a healing experience to honor the life of their loved ones. Our funeral directors and staff have worked with families for generations to understand the uniqueness of the deceased in order to customize a personalized setting for them to be honored. The Bellmore Funeral Home is a place for people to come together during this emotional time.
Our knowledgeable and licensed team of funeral directors will guide you through the entire process and listen to all your questions. We take the utmost care starting with the transfer of remains and helping families throughout the entire process of the funeral. We assist our families with both the emotional and physical aspects of planning for the end of life. This begins with transferring of remains, acquiring a death certificate, selecting a casket, urn or burial vault, preparing an obituary, planning a thoughtful service, and arranging for the final disposition.

TRANSFER OF REMAINS
Whether someone passes away close to home or in another city or state our team of experienced directors will arrange for their transfer to our facilities. We have relationships with funeral homes throughout the tri-state area and throughout the United States. Our licensed directors will make all the arrangements to ensure that this process is handled with the utmost care and diligence.
PRE-ARRANGEMENT COUNSELING
The pre-planning process allows individuals to choose and fund their own funeral. This removes the burden from survivors to have to plan and fund their loved one’s funeral. We will create a revocable trust with interest that will ensure that the funds are available at the time of your funeral. Pre-arrangements allow for individuals to plan many details including services, merchandise, funding for flowers, pall bearers, and vehicles, etc. To learn more or to set up an appointment to plan and fund your own funeral, please contact us.
FULL-SERVICE FUNERAL
Coming together after loss can be an essential part of the grieving and healing process. The Bellmore Funeral Home allows for families and friends to gather, share memories, express emotions, and find comfort. Each of our vaulted chapels can accommodate large groups but can also be set up to create an intimate setting for smaller groups. Full-service funerals may include removal and preparation of the deceased, a casket of your selection, wake for visitation, prayers cards, registry, a religious or fraternal service, a church mass, vehicles, and interment. Our memorial chapels and services can be tailored to fit your wishes.
CREMATION
We offer cremation which does not limit the way you chose to memorialize one’s life. Today cremation is often paired with many full-service options to allow families the opportunity to gather, honor, and heal. Our chapels can be used for a memorial service after a cremation has taken place. This service can occur directly after the cremation or at a later date. We can assist you in selecting an urn or keepsakes for your loved ones. Arrangements can be made to inter cremains in a traditional grave columbarium.
MILITARY SERVICES
We offer ceremonies tailored to honor those who are active military service members and veterans. Please ask how we can create a special memorial for a loved one who served our country .
